Why your posts might be missing or not getting updated on your Feedlink page

In this article we will cover one of the most common reason that may be preventing the auto-update of your new posts on your Feedlink page.

The most common reason is missing permissions on your Social Account.

The missing permissions can occur when you change your password on your Facebook/Instagram or TikTok account or If any privacy changes are made.

Then automatically you lose access to all third-party platforms such as EmbedSocial.

To get started and refresh your permissions follow these steps:

Please go to 'Social Accounts'

And click on the 'Refresh' button on the right side of the account:

Please note that you will need to be logged in with the same account that is missing the permissions in order to refresh them.

Once missing permissions are refreshed, the missing posts will appear in your Feedlink page within the next 8 hours or If you open the Editor of your page, the post would be pulled right away.

If you're posts are still missing even if you've refreshed your missing permissions, you need to check the type of your Instagram account.

Please make sure that you have connected the right type of Instagram account (Personal or Business)

If your Facebook account manages your Instagram account, you should first connect your Facebook account and then in the Source tab your Instagram business account.

Once you connect your Instagram account in our platform, we suggest you not to edit/delete or connect it again.
