What is Domain Renewal?

Domain renewal is the process of extending the registration of your domain name.

.link domain names are registered for a set period of 12 months.

This means that you will need to renew your domain before the registration period expires.

To renew your domain name:

  1. Log in to your EmbedSocial account

  2. Go to the "Domains" page:

  3. And click on the "Manage" button next to the domain name:

  4. After being redirected to the Manage Domains page, you can renew your domain by clicking on the 'Renew Domain' button and providing your payment details to complete the process successfully.

    1. "You can notice that the auto-renew option is set to 'On' by default, which means that your domain name will be automatically renewed each year, providing you with peace of mind and a hassle-free domain name registration experience.

    2. If you wish to turn off this option, simply switch the toggle to 'Off'."

    3. Or you can directly switch the toggle off directly on the Domains tab:

By following the steps provided above, you can easily renew your domain name and ensure that your .link page remains up and running for years to come.

How Much Does Domain Renewal Cost:

Renewing a .link domain name costs $12 per year.

Domain Grace Period

If you miss the renewal deadline, you will have a short grace period of 30 days to renew the domain name before it becomes available for someone else to register.
